Built from experience. Focused on better care.

Valley Community Care helps behavioral health organizations turn good clinical intentions into strong daily operations. We support providers with compliance, documentation, staff training, billing workflows, credentialing, and program growth.

Meet Lonnie Reed

Lonnie grew up in Germany and moved to the Seattle area when he was 12. That move taught him early how to adapt, connect with people, and find his footing in a new place. Seattle also gave him a lifelong loyalty to the Seahawks—something he’ll happily bring up if you give him the chance.

He went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps before building a career in behavioral health. As an Arizona-certified Community Health Worker, Lonnie has worked directly with people navigating substance use and mental health challenges. He has also led the work behind the scenes: developing staff, improving documentation, managing operations, building referral relationships, and helping programs grow.

Lonnie serves on the Arizona Behavioral Health Planning Council and participates in its committee work. He founded Valley Community Care because he believes strong operations should make it easier for staff to do their jobs and for clients to get the care they came for. He brings lived experience, direct service experience, and a practical understanding of what it takes to run a program to every partnership.

Our Story

VCC was founded by Lonnie Reed after years working directly in substance use and mental health services. His experience spans client-facing work and the operational challenges behind it: building programs, supporting staff, improving documentation, navigating payer requirements, and helping organizations deliver consistent care. Lonnie founded VCC to offer practical guidance from someone who understands what happens inside a behavioral health program every day.

Let’s build something that works.

Whether you are strengthening an existing program or preparing for what comes next, VCC can help you identify the gaps, organize the work, and move forward with confidence.
